Since we really won't get a good glimpse of the next generation of systems until E3, there will be massive speculation as to what hardware and features the PS4 and Xbox720 will have inside. I think that both should have better integration of motion controllers, cloud storage, upgraded graphics, connectivity and internal storage and a bigger push for digital downloads of games. Gamers still like physical controllers and physical discs. Its about the entire gaming experience of going to that game retailer, standing in line at midnight, and browsing titles on shelves that makes the experience so unique. I wish that E3 and other game shows were more open to the public. That would build up the hype even more, but the industry participants complained, so now E3 is closed off.
I expect that we will also see some better integration with mobile devices and tablets as well. We can already expect that from MSFT.
