I'm a little amazed at this actually. I haven't really looked at the console sales figures for Japan, but I would have expected the PS3 to be doing better than that. WOW!!! The 3DS must have some killer software to be doing that well in Japan. Personally, I wish that MSFT would just stop selling all Xbox related games and hardware in Japan. Their effort is just plain sad, and I'm an Xbox owner.
