Wii U for US Priced and Dated

Finally, after months of anticipation, we have a date and price for the Wii U. Looks like they are going with a tiered product offering similar to what PS3 and Xbox360 offer. $299 is a good starting point, and unlike its rivals, the next offering is $349. So people may opt to buy the higher version due to the big difference in extra cables and storage. Still no pricing on the actual controller. One of the things that I worry about is related to available launch games. There is a list on WikiPedia, which is linked below. Lets hope that they don't repeat what they did for the 3DS and delay their 1st party games to later on in 2013. That's what killed the 3DS (along with the high price).

I wonder if they will allow extra storage options through memory cards or cloud storage.
