Game Informer's Battlefront 3 Wish list

I like the far reaching goals that the author had in this post, but realistically, Lucasarts wants no one to talk about Star Wars but them. Because of their close minded mentality, many of their games have been gimped by Lucas' lack of creative expression. What happened to the creativity of the Star Wars games in the 90s? (Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Tie Fighter/Xwing). Its like all they are trying to do now is keep every game within the confines of episodes 1-6. That is fine and all, but there are so many other stories in the comics, books and fan sites that could be used to make some really awesome Star Wars games. If Lucas doesn't allow more creativity in games, the gaming population will just give up on SW games all together. Plus, they don't seem to know when to leave a good game alone. Did we really need a sequel to Knights of the Old Republic of Force Unleashed? No, but they did it and the games were SH@T.

Battlefront was a fun game when it first came out, but people are sick of rehasing old battles, and most Star Wars fans want to see nothing related to the prequels in any game (apart from the recent Clone Wars cartoon series).
